CAST 2022-23 Pivot Winter Season
Since we have all learned to embrace change and pivot - CAST is offering two possibilities for each performance slot this year. If you fill out an audition permission form you will be sent an official ballot to vote on which shows we do this year. Only one show can be chosen for each slot and only student participants who sign up can select the show. Help us PIVOT and sign up today!
WINTER STUDIO SHOW
AS OLYMPUS TURNS
Imagine all the name-calling, back-stabbing, gold-digging characters of reality TV and now imagine that they are all ancient Greek gods: in other words, the show is "The Real Housewives/ husbands/ demigods of Mount Olympus." This original comedy script was developed by CAST in 2002 and we will update it using improv and timely references to current affairs for a hilarious evening at the theatre.

SPRING MUSICAL WORKSHOP
Our musical reviews feature all the great costumes and songs of a musical without the messy plot and scenery that slow down the exciting dance and vocal performances we all enjoy so much. This spring we will present CAST MUSIC AND THE MOVIES, a review of some songs from the great movie musicals of yesteryear right up to songs that first appeared in movies today. Come find out if your favorites will be included and learn a few new songs along the way.
