Greenhorn goes ONLINE
Like most of the world’s theatre productions since March 2020, CAST’s scheduled presentation of the original play Greenhorn was canceled due to the pandemic. Greenhorn told the true story of Genevieve Forbes Herrick, a young tribune reporter who in 1921 went undercover thru Ellis Island to expose the horrors of the US immigration process.
Last spring, the play was quickly adapted into a series of monologues that student actors rehearsed and recorded from their homes. With the magic of video editing and some clever web design, these monologues have been arranged in such a way that you can meet in your own home many of the cast members who would have told this inspiring story on stage!
Visit the GREENHORN WEBSITE today to learn all about the characters in this amazing story and hear the recorded performances of our CAST kids!
